Elk Rock Yoga is a neighborhood yoga studio in Portland, Oregon offering daily classes and seasonal workshops. They wanted a professional way to share their schedule beyond social posts, something students could easily keep and reference.

Challenge

The studio’s class list was often shared digitally, but students wanted something tangible — a printed schedule they could post at home, tuck into a notebook, or hand to friends. The design needed to feel clear and functional while still reflecting the studio’s warm, welcoming brand.

Solution

I created a print-ready postcard template that balanced brand identity with community usability, becoming the model for future seasonal schedules.:

• Bolded times paired with lighter class names for quick scanning.

• Color-coded day headers for rhythm and visual consistency.

• Clean spacing and alignment to make the schedule easy to read at a glance.

• Print-ready setup with safe margins, bleeds, and CMYK color.

• Coordinated with the printer to ensure accuracy and high-quality production.

Result

The printed postcard gave Elk Rock Yoga a polished, take-home reference for students — extending the brand beyond the studio and providing a reliable alternative to social feeds. The refreshed design also became the template for future seasonal postcards, giving the studio a consistent, professional print piece they could easily update each quarter.
